The Martin Margiela Atelier allows for couture living, which is a similar design language Margiela uses in his ‘garments for women 1”. Movable boxes that contain spaces to work, sleep, study, and show give way to unlimited possibilities for how to use the space. Over an hour, day, week, month or year the same space can be changed depending on weather, mood and/or necessity.
