live + work
Xabela uses the large warehouse space as a home and a studio for her production firm. New walls float free of everything that is existing. A central space provides a physical separation between home and work while at the same time allowing for a visual connection through the entire building. Ultimatly Xabela’s layers of life open but just out of reach. Expressing the idea of exposition further, the architectural details and furniture and fixture selections reveal the layers of Xabela’s life even more, always keeping her life a little exposed.
